Microneedling
Microneedling is a procedure that uses small needles to create controlled injuries to the skin, promoting natural increases of collagen for the improvement of facial acne scarring. We use the newly designed and latest technology,
MicroPen EVO device which has more control and greater results.
If you are on a hunt for a true solution for facial acne scars or simply looking to improve your skin’s texture, tone, and color, the pursuit stops here.
What is Microneedling?
Microneedling is a treatment that works by creating microscopic injuries in the surface of the skin that jump-start collagen production and the skin’s repair process, creating more youthful, vibrant skin. MicroPen EVO is a U. S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) cleared class II advanced medical-grade automated microneedling device that offers a higher intensity collagen induction therapy compared with other microneedling devices on the market today. That means MicroPen EVO can provide visible results even for those who have more noticeable issues related to facial acne scars, as well as the improvement of general concerns with skin texture, tone, and coloring. The MicroPen EVO device also allows for advanced treatment customization and precision. We can easily adjust the depth and speed of treatment to achieve a patient’s ideal results. Best of all, MicroPen EVO treatment is safe and comfortable for patients with most skin types, and you’ll have little to no downtime following the procedure.
What can Microneedling do for me?
Patients can see a “glow” to their skin as soon as the procedure is finished, and visible changes to the skin develop over the course of several weeks. Results continue to improve up to six months after the treatment. Some patients only require a single treatment in one visit just once a year to achieve noticeable results. However, most dermatologists recommend that patients receive a series of two to three treatments space six to eight weeks apart for best results. For patients with significant skincare concerns, such as deep acne scars, it is recommended to receive six to eight sessions at six-week intervals.

What to Expect?
The most common side effects of MicroPen EVO treatment are mild discomfort and irritation that are typically only experienced during the treatment sessions. Following your MicroPen EVO procedure, you may also notice that your skin is slightly pink or reddened. You might also experience some dry, itchy, or peeling skin over the first week. The side effects often depend on the individual’s natural healing response and the location of the procedure. While some people completely heal in as little as one day, others will require four days to a full week to heal. We will provide you with more specific information about what to expect during your treatment appointment, and they will guide you through skincare steps to mitigate any potential side effects.
How does the MicroPen EVO Work?
The MicroPen EVO procedure is very straightforward. Using the MicroPen EVO device, the dermatologist creates micro-injuries to the skin in the treatment area. As the body goes to work healing the skin, collagen production is stimulated, dead skin cells are shed, and healthy skin is revealed. During treatment, you can expect a quick, comfortable process. Your dermatologist will apply a saline solution to the skin. Then, the MicroPen EVO device is positioned on one side and gently glided across the entire treatment area. The procedure is relatively comfortable, and people describe the sensation as being similar to having a piece of sandpaper swept over their skin. The entire microneedling session only takes about fifteen to thirty minutes. While most people see significant improvement of the skin after their first treatment visit, dermatologists will usually recommend a series of MicroPen EVO sessions to achieve the ideal result. Your dermatologist will likely establish a tentative treatment plan during your consultation visit, but this can be adjusted as needed based on your skin’s response to the procedure.
