Dr. Diana Trusky
A doctor is the profession where knowledge, power, and heart come together.
Dr. Diana Trusky
With over 30 years of Dermatology experience, Dr. Diana Trusky is highly regarded in the Medical Dermatology field by both her fellow associates and clients. She is Chief of Dermatology at Riverview Hackensack Meridian Hospital and is affiliated with Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in Middletown, New Jersey.
Dr. Diana Ellen Trusky, MD is a Board Certified Dermatologist with over forty years of experience, numerous awards, and a vast knowledge of both cosmetic and clinical dermatological procedures. She attended Columbia University and graduated from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where she was given membership into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society as only a Junior. She has been nominated as NJ TOP DOCS for the past seven years running; was celebrated by the Dermatology Foundation Leaders Society for her exemplary commitment and distinguished professional achievements; and has been given The Medical Society of New Jersey Physicians Recognition Award yearly since 1998 for her unprecedented commitment to continuing her education in the field of Dermatology. She is a staff physician at both Bayshore and Riverview Meridian Hospitals and is in private practice in a beautiful facility just off the Garden State Parkway in Red Bank, NJ.
She has been a trailblazer for female physicians, graduating as one of only a few women in her class, and often toughing it out in this formerly male dominated field. She worked as a Pediatric Nurse at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, as she paid her own way through college and medical school. There, she quickly progressed from Pediatric Bedside Nurse to Pediatric Nursing Administrator, and similarly quickly rose through the ranks during her residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine: beginning as an Intern and ending up as Chief Resident. Her pioneering spirit was evident from her very beginnings in rural Simpson, Pennsylvania. She graduated High School with Honors and was the first female ever elected to act as MC for the schools esteemed “School Spirit” event, turning heads as quickly as she broke through gender barriers.
Dr. Trusky is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, The American Medical Association, and the Dermatological Society of New Jersey. She was among the first physicians in New Jersey to be trained in administering BOTOX, and has been a member of the Botox Cosmetic Physicians Network since 1996. She is licensed to practice in both New Jersey and New York States.
Even though Dr. Trusky has made great strides in her career, she remains humble and dedicated to helping others. In 1995, she travelled with a group of physicians to aid villagers in rural Vietnam, some of whom had walked for two days to reach her, and had never received dermatological attention in their lives. She has served as a Committee Member for the Visiting Nurse Association of Monmouth County and the ARC – For People with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. Additionally, she has been a Volunteer at the Parker Family Health Center, a free clinic in Red Bank, NJ. Dr. Trusky was formerly an Assistant Clinical Professor for the Department of Dermatology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, a role that required her to travel to the Bronx, NY weekly to oversee residents in a clinic serving some patients who could not afford traditional care.
